How to Hire

When hiring a babysitter some good ways to find a good one, is
1st see how they treat their own siblings
2nd ask their parents how they are
and
3rd ask your kids if they enjoyed the babysitter you chose.
This way, you will know if you have a good babysitter.
BTW when you ask someone to babysit for you for the 1st time, ASK IN PERSON. Once you have had them babysit once, then you can ask them over the phone, but for the first time, in person is always better!

Safety 1st

For safety reasons,

*Always make sure there is a phone for the sitter to use if neccessary.

*Also, always leave a list of emergency numbers and a number that the sitter can contact you at.This makes the babysitter feel safer,  incase anything happened. 

*Also parents, make sure that the babysitter knows your rules, so they know how to take care of your kids.

*And more, make sure the sitter knows important thing (Alergies, diseases, etc.) so that they are aware.

2. When babysitting, the sitter should always try to include the kids in the decision making process, no matter the situation.

3. When a child is mad, the sitter should never fight back by yelling or screaming the child will cool off eventually. The sitter screaming just heats up the situation.

4. When babysitting, the sitter should always focus on the kids and thier needs, this way the kids will enjoy the time with the babysitter and want him or her to come back.

5. The babysitter should entertain the children, thats what a sitter is for!

6. Last but not least, have fun, and make the kids happy!
